6SENS THE GREENEST TERRACE

August 3^rd, 2'00 PM. A young Chinese student crosses the threshold of France Pavilion. She does not know that she is the five millionth visitor of this part of France. France Pavilion is breaking all records: it is the most visited pavilion...ahead of the Chinese one! 15% of World Expo visitors stopped at the France Pavilion. On August 2^nd, 50.579 visitors patiently followed its waiting line. Since its opening, the French pavilion has had higher figures than the Eiffel Tower itself, which stands as the most visited French monument and attracted 3.2 million visitors during the first half of year 2010.

As for restaurant 6SENS, it is always full and has become the place-to-be for Chinese guests willing to experiment French cuisine!

This restaurant owned by Pourcel group offers has two major assets: its cuisine and its terrace. Magically set at the top of a building, genuine oasis of peacefulness and emotion, it offers, in addition to its breathtaking view over Shanghai, the freshness and greenness of a hanging garden. Everything in there is about elegance and charm. Just take the lift that will discreetly and directly take you to the 8^th heaven: an elegant terrace with a 360° panoramic view over the Expo site and the city that never sleeps. Right under the stars, you will be able to enjoy a selection of French wine, skilfully chosen by Olivier Château. Or else the "Première Bulle" cocktail, the latest creation by Caves du Sieur d'Arques de Limoux, a prestigious house that accompanies the Pourcel brothers in their Chinese adventure. This great bubbly wine is a sumptuously delicate drink, with a complex nose. First flavours are those of white flowers, followed by white fruit aromas, and toasted, brioche-like aromas. In the end, a magnificently smooth, bright, elegant cocktail. In perfect harmony with the place.

With summer, straw huts invade beaches. They grow out of earth, or more specifically out of sand, during April. They blossom on the seashore to which they bring a hint of exoticism, a genuine holiday atmosphere.
